Spring Series Begin and Summer Camps announced!

Hello All,

It’s been awhile since you have seen an update so I wanted to say hello and thank you to all our loyal customers who’ve been patiently awaiting more Created to Grow events on the calendar! This year of settling into teaching full time in the schools again has proven to be very busy and finding that balance has taken most of my energy, but Created to Grow is still here and our new Spring Series with our newest teacher, Erin Dolan will begin on Wednesday and Summer Camps are now planned and ready for registration. The best part of all this waiting for you is that as we settle into our new satellite version of our programming we get to pass our lower overhead on to you in lower priced classes and camps! It’s always been my goal to keep our classes as accessible as possible and with this model we can do even better at that for you!

Spring Series Starts Wednesday

We have two fun spring classes for Preschoolers and Homeschoolers starting Wednesday! Unfortunately, our website is not allowing us to register folks for the class and though it should be fixed soon, it won’t likely be resolved before the series begins, so here’s the low down. Creative Kidlit, our story hour with a creative twist will begin at 9:30 this Wednesday and Homeschool Arts Collective will start at 10:30. The series will run for 6 weeks with the exception of April 25th due to a teacher conflict. Creative Kidlit is $8 for a drop in rate and $45 for the full 6 weeks. Homeschool Arts Collective is $8 for a drop in session or $50 for the full six weeks.  Since online registration isn’t currently available, let us know you are planning on joining in the fun by RSVPing on this following facebook event. Drop ins are always welcome, but it’s always great to get an idea of numbers before classes begin:

Elementary morning camps

Glitter and Glow: June 18-20th, 9:30am-12pm Have a child who oohs and ahhs when they spot those extra special art materials that are neon or shimmery, glittery or glowing! Here’s their chance to dig in to all those materials somewhere that doesn’t coat your house in a fine dusting of glitter! A full 4 days of projects made with medium that shimer and shine, glitter and glow!

Nature’s Creative Collectors: July 16-18, 9:30am-12pm This is the perfect class for those children whose pockets ( and yours) are inevitably full of cool rocks and interesting leaves, a flower petal and an intriguing stick every time you take a walk. Create a nature sketchbook with collector pockets and use the nature you find in the art you create. These nature finds can inspire observational drawings, become a new style of paint brush, hang in a mobile or become a weaving loom. 4 days to collect and explore. Weather permitting, each morning will begin with a short neighborhood walk so be prepared with appropriate clothing and shoes.

Wizards and Spells: Aug 6th-8th, 9:30am-12pm Art is a great way to make magic and there’s so much creative literature that inspires young wizards to create a magical world of their own. Create your own wands, capes and horcrux stones, a messenger owl and more fun projects inspired by stories like Harry Potter by JK Rowling!
